What will the Aged Care fees be that the facility will charge?
There are different costs associated with government subsidised aged care homes and we help you understand what they are so you can plan ahead.
What is the Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS)?
This assessment has two parts, firstly to find out if you are eligible for subsidised care and secondly to understand your needs and the services that could help you. Before accessing care you need to have this assessment, it is easy to arrange an assessment.
Will my age pension or other Centrelink entitlements be affected?
Going into Aged Care is a change of circumstance and it can alter your age pension. Although Centrelink have the final say we work it out for you.
Do I have to sell my home?
Not everyone wants to sell their home but renting it out may also seem daunting. We can present you with the different options and what they look like so you can make a better decision.

Meeting
When you have decided to arrange a meeting with Adrienne it is important to bring with you the following documents. However, if you do not have these things with you we can help you to obtain them.
- Current superannuation information
- Current income information
- Your solicitor’s and accountant’s details
- Details regarding any wills, powers of attorney or trusts you may have in place
- Any Centrelink benefits (including ACAS assessment)
- An idea of your assets and liabilities, which could include your current savings, investments, loans and contents insured
- Your financial goals – or at least the reasons why you are seeking financial advice
